Cold Laser Therapy

Conditions typically treated:

  • Arthritis pain

  • Back pain

  • Carpal tunnel syndrome

  • Fibromyalgia pain

  • Knee pain

  • Neck pain

  • Tendonitis

Unlike surgical lasers, cold lasers do not burn or cut the skin as they penetrate it. Cold laser therapy, a form of low-intensity laser therapy, promotes healing by utilizing low levels of light. This therapy involves directing light photons into the skin using a wand equipped with multiple light-emitting diodes. When these photons penetrate the skin and travel through damaged tissue, they induce chemical changes in the mitochondria of the cells, prompting them to enhance adenosine triphosphate production.
